Homemade ice cream...YUM!

YUM!!!! Enjoy your ice cream!!!!

After 5 minutes, take out the bag.

...and then SHAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Make sure you shake for at least 5 minutes. This doesn't seem like a long time, but when your shaking a bag of melting ice...it seems like FOREVER! But keep shaking, otherwise it doesn't work.

Add the SEALED small bag...

Next, fill a GALLON Ziploc bag half full with ice. Then put 2 cups coarse salt in it.

Take a small Ziploc and put 1 cup of the mixture in it. Do this for 4 bags.

(everyone had to whisk it...)...yes, everyone.

Put them in the bowl and whisk all of the ingredients together.

Add half a cup of sugar and 2 teaspoons vanilla.

Pour them both into a large bowl...

and two cups half and half.

Take two cups whipping cream...

Heavy Whipping cream. So fattening, but so good...

This was a very tasty treat, and also very messy. Make sure you do the "shaking" outside!

Who eats SARDINES in mustard and pickle juice? GROSS! Tonight we were all at the dinner table and everyone, (except for me and my mom) ate sardines. They weren't just sardines, they were soaked in mustard and pickle juice. Am I the only one who thinks this is gross?

Cooper's friend, T.J, even tried some. We got them because Ava loves them. Weird Huh? She is VERY picky when it comes to food, but she''ll eat sardines!

Cricket!!!!

.....................................................This little dog named Cricket is staying at our house! He is 3 1/2 months old and is SO cute! We are watching him for 3 days while his owner is on vacation. He is even smaller in person!!!~~~~~~~~

Bath Bag

.............................................Today I made this bath bag. It really works! I messed up a little on the top half. ( see the lump) But besides that, it's perfect! ( Considering I just learned how to crochet. ) To make this:

1. Chain 29 and then make a double crochet in the fourth stich and in every stich till the end of the row.

2. Circle your work around so that the beginning of the row is next to the end. ( I wish I had a picture to show u. )

3. Do a slip stich into the space.

4. Chain 3.

5. skip a stich and do a half double crochet.

6. Chain 1.

***7. Now do this: >Skip a stich >Make a half double crochet in the next stich > Chain 1.***

This is an important part.

8. do this all the way around the loop.

9. OK. Good. Now do this: > Make a half double crochet in the next big space. > chain 1.

This is the MOST important part of the whole bag!

10. Do this until your bag is 1 inch longer than your bar of soap.

11. You probably know how to finish off......

12. Close up the Bottom of the bag by making a slip stich all the way across.

13. Separately make a 12 inch chain.

14. Now weave it in and out of the bag so it is a draw-string.

Just Kidding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We actually ate the pie and just shoved our faces with plates filled with whipped cream.

What to do with the strawberries.....

We have been making EVERYTHING out of strawberries. Strawberry pie, strawberry smoothies, strawberry jam, strawberry syrup to put over ice cream.... Like I said, everything! My Dad said we should try to make strawberry tooth paste. I don't think so.

I'm not sure who it is, but someone in my family has the power to turn people really small. ( I think it's Cooper... he looks suspicious.) Ava likes being little. She even rode on a dog holding a welcome sign!!!

swimming.......FINALLY!

So, we have started swimming! The pool is still a little bit cold, but warm enough to stay in for 30 minutes. :) Summer is finally here! I am soooooooooooooooooooo Happy! YAY!

I've got so many requests for interviews! I will try my best to get every one. I even have my brother, Cooper asking for one. But not to put on my blog. :) He would never let me do that! I am going to say this now so I don't have to say it later -I make up about half of the answers and I get the other half from American Girl table talkers and from these new family dinner questions we got. They have really good questions!
